Nick Ramsey

Nick Ramsey conducts research with functional MRI (3T and 7T) and with human intracranial recordings at the Neurosurgery Department. He is interested in human brainfunction mechanisms, and in applying that knowledge to people with brain disorders. His main interest is to improve clinical care, and to achieve results he includes in his research the complete path of fundamental research on brainfunction, to methodology in data acquisition and analysis, neurotechnological development and end-user needs assessment, while keeping safety and efficacy of envisioned solutions for patients on the radar. His team works with people with Locked-In Syndrome who are implanted with Brain-Computer Interface systems.
