Chris Stronks is a senior researcher dedicating his studies to cochlear implants. His research is focused on noise reduction to enhance speech understanding in noise using front-end processing techniques, and the objective assessment of the auditory system. The methods he applies include psychophysics, pupillometry and electrophysical recordings. He has published 20 peer-reviewed articles, 3 book chapters, 3 patents and more than 35 conference abstracts (h-index of 10). Currently he supervises undergraduate and graduate students.
