Yung-Ting Tsou is a postdoctoral researcher at Developmental Psychology, Leiden University. She did research on language and social development in children with cochlear implants at Chang-Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, and during her PhD at Leiden University she studied emotion processing in deaf and hard-of-hearing children, using eye tracking and psychophysiological measures. Since 2021 she works as a postdoc and extends her research to the school environment, focusing on the social inclusion of deaf and hard-of-hearing children and autistic children in schools. She uses a multi-method approach that includes observations, questionnaires, and wearable sensor technology.
