Carolien Rieffe

Carolien Rieffe (MSc (Hons) in Psychological Methodology, University of Amsterdam; PhD Vrije Universiteit). Since 2001, she was Assistant Professor at Institute of Education University of London, until she started as Associate Professor at Leiden University in 2004. From 2010-2020 the Dutch Foundation for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Child (NSDSK, Amsterdam) installed an endowed chair for her at Leiden University on Social-Emotional Development in Children with Auditory and/or Communicative Impairments. In addition to her position in Leiden, Carolien serves as Honorary Professor at UCL, University of London, since 2005; and Full Professor at Twente University, 2020. H-index g-scholar 50.
