In the coming years the EBRAINS-Neurotech project aims to build a new generation of brain research tools - the project spanning nine Dutch institutions has been awarded a €18.3 million grant by the NWO.
Neurotechnology has been in the centre of conversation of future technology for a few years now. The new EBRAINS-Neurotech project aims for a far-reaching integration of neurotechnology research and development across the Netherlands by creating a new, cohesive infrastructure from developing smart materials, testing implants, and designing computer models for brain-computer interfaces.
The consortium spans nine Dutch institutions under the leadership of the University of Amsterdam.
